keyboard_arrow_downHow might young adults make plans more effectively so that they can discover new activities and experiences?
With the pandemic lasting nearly two years, many of our favorite digital platforms are no longer suitable to be the only form of entertainment and fun in our lives. Vaccination rates are increasing and people are looking for in-person activities, but young adults continue to struggle to coordinate with loved ones while trying new things in their city.
cultured is targeted at young adults, friend groups, individuals tired of going to the same places, and people who find it too challenging to make plans with their loved ones.
During our development process, we learned a couple of things:
Upon these learnings, we made a plan of action to adjust our project idea. This plan moved quickly, and we found early validation through another round of user testing and experimentation. With a new solution with a clear path to MVP, we're excited to introduce cultured to our users.
From our initial user research, we found that young adults had a strong desire to return to in-person entertainment options.
Our secondary round of user testing showed us that nearly all our target users struggled to make plans for a Friday night in less than 15 minutes. Not only that, users would end up going to the same restaurants and sights in Seattle.
cultured provides direction for users hoping to plan activities in a quick, easy, and fun format. We're excited to be providing opportunities for eager young adults to rediscover their in-person lifestyles with cultured.
